     Emergency Care

If you are having a behavioral health crisis such as thoughts of suicide, immediately go to your closest hospital emergency room or call the

statewide hotline 1-877-266-4357. All Alaska hospital emergency departments are prepared to assist and connect you with behavioral

health services that would be most beneficial for you.  As you know, in Alaska you may be in a location where access to hospitals/phones are

not available, please reach out to your local clinic, a friend, or family member to get connected to emergency care.

     Veterans

If you are a veteran and having thoughts of harming yourself, 1-800-273-8255 is the national hotline specifically designated for you. If

you are a family member or concerned friend of a veteran, please feel free to call this number for assistance as well.
